Shd or shdn't i?

Imagine that we are sitting in skylers (restaurant), chilling out on a beautiful day lyk this (ok not so beautiful, I think it’s a little too sunny/ windy). We are actually having class, but we know how punctual this one professor is, and assuming that you know him a little too well, we decide to go to class once we get miss call from a classmate. After having the Dal Makhni, or Veggie Alforno, you still don’t get the sign that he has started class, and you begin to wonder if you are royally kaput. So you call one friend, to inquire if class started, and he, has no idea as he is lost in the foosball world. Call another friend for the same, and she is in the CADLab, chatting to a long lost friend through some proxy site, that the IT Administrator hasn’t found out yet. She apparently, was waiting for a miss cal from you!
The person I am going to talk about is not famous globally, but within the MAHE Manipal campus, he is known for his notoriety. Kidding
To give an intro about him is as easy as difficult it is. Confused? Then You must’ve already guessed who I am talking about...YES!
He is the one person who asks you not to eat out in skylers or 24*7, but has been spotted in both places. Talk about hypocrisy!
He is one person who unpredictably jumps between extreme good moods and raging tempers, without warning.
He is someone who lovingly calls us donkeys, and another faculty member has actually taken inspiration from him to address us that way.
He is the worst, but often the best, the unique, the one and only, and thankfully the One of a kind…
Ashok Ananthaswami Ganapathi Iyer!!!
First I’ll speak about a few characteristic “ Mr. ashok iyer” gestures.
The way he clasps and rubs his arms together when he has a new assignment for us is his trademark. We all know that we smell smoke when he is a little too excited. We know it means that the following week is going to be hectic, and that he is gonna – quoting his words- “ twist our backs and make us work”. Watching us work is his favorite hobby, second to collecting fountain pens, of course.
Although from Palakkad, a place torn between tamilnadu and kerala, he is Bombay based, and hails from a large Brahmin family.
As a teacher, he is amazing. He has a knack for communicating with us, and is an amazing professor. He has a flair for teaching, and he himself enjoys it to the maximum, making his class very, very interesting; actually, more of entertaining, with his usual sarcasm.
Ahh his sense of humour. That is something we could research on. Seriously

He has also taught us things beyond design. For Example, no matter how late he gets, we should be in class on time.
On a more serious note, I have learnt quite a bit from him, although I’ve known him for no longer than any of you here.
Get on his good side, you are lucky. Get on his bad side, he’ll ruin you. Sir, we love you for who you are, please do not change. Just extend our assignment deadlines a bit farther.

Yet to edit-- I remember Mr. Ashok saying that there are two kinds of people we must respect,
1. people elder to us.
2. people more educated than us.
Education
Marriage
