Getting over the series of uneventful events happening in my life in the fourth semester of my bachelors will take me time; especially this weekend. There was a stubborn autocad phase, laptop crashing hours before a submission phase, falling ill a day before an important test, and ofcourse, the few emergency vacations back home in the past couple of months. After all the academic drama, giving up all hope to earn a decent GPA, and hoping to stay within certain boundaries of grades, I, with all determination to work, had decided to spend the weekend at my LG's, for quite a few reasons...
1. easier access to a friend's place to learn a new software, required for last week's submission
2. won't have to spend money on food
3. easier and cheaper printing facilities
4. escape the freezing temperatures of my room that makes me oversleep (not a lame excuse, i swear)

HOWEVER, me, the smartass that I am, left my laptop charger in college.

What can i say!
I managed to borrow a laptop for a day from a cousin, since i had AutoCAD setup in my hard disk (which ended up being corrupted, btw), and attempting to download AutoCAD through torrent only made me wait for a good 12 hours. Funnily, an error was detected ONLY after 99.9% was downloaded.
Oh, and did I mention my overly cynical uncle has a ha-ha-pfft-not-so-funny-sense of humour. "the security guard might've sold the charger for a good price"...? With all due respect- Up yours!
My superfriend ( mashaAllah, man, she's wonderful) got the charger from college, but couldn't make it to my LG's due to drastic and unavoidable change of plans.

what more is in store for me?
