Bad Sculpture Day!

We had a humanities assignment today. We should have a theme right? When we asked our teacher she said:
" anny kind of symbolic sculpture, with abbbsolyootly anny muh-terial"
it made NO sense to me. So i luk for sum pics on d net n cum up with an idea to sculpt a gargoyle. Ofcourse, i had no "symbolism explanation" to give to it, but i thought i can come up with crap in the last minute, as i usually do.
A gargoyle, btw, are figures of scary beasts put outside gothic period churches to make ppl God- fearing.. i dunno how tht was supposed to work, but whtever.
I did find some other interesting ones, but my creative eyes found this thing better, so i let my friends take the interesting ones.
Lets not talk about how ppl found it amusing to smear clay on my face( probably becuz i hv more surface area than most ppl in my class), which has the same texture as mud, not the modeling clay; not even about how i spoilt my black scarf with terracotta fingerprints...
my end product was
AMUSING!
My gargoyle looked "cute". Sarah mam asked me wht it was, n i told her gargoyle- she chuckled n sed, o abstract form of gargoyle. I smiled back, but i wanted to ask her "o, so u can make spine- chilling ones??" n also " how the hell can gargoyles b abstract???"
So now i had to cum up with trash, i. e. a theme to talk bout my piece of art, right? I decide to paint it attractive n expressive.
I paint one side of it in bright colours, to explain how man tries to be happy, cheerful, content,
and the otherside i paint it in earthen colours to make it depressing, how demanding, rough, busy and boring he can het (dun ask me if earthen colours are depressing, and no it has nothing to do with certain people who always wear such colours, esp nan).. basically the two sides of human nature...
Oh yea, since the gargoyle was bent at the neck, it was to be burdened with reponsibilities, displayed friction in a man's life.
See, i told you i cud cum up with trash lyk this... but then looking at other ppls sculptures, i began to feel belittled... my friends told me tht it was cool, but then they started laffin... hint, hint: MOCKERY!

Fars HAD to remind me every 10 mins, for lyk 3 hrs, about my sculpture, telling me tht it displayed "optimism and cynicism (:P)"; tanvi cald me when she reached home to give me emotional n moral support (altho she was muffling her giggles), and even when faiza came onlyn, she had to console me...
On top of tht i had to hide my sculpture from (certain, cute) seniors...
I never wanted to get out of the 3rd floor as fast as i did, ever.
So MORTIFYING!! Ughhh!
